Chapter 1. Follow the wind
“All I can tell you is,
just follow the wind…”
A little redhead was a bit sad. She was living in Polandia a faraway land.
This is a story of a little girl with big dreams. So get ready and tighten your jeans.
In a faraway land, in a thick and dark forest, a little girl was born. Her name was Klaudia but everyone preferred to call her Little Redhead as she was born with particular and extraordinary hair. On the day she turned 7 she started talking about big journeys she would have taken when she reaches this sufficient age. Unfortunately, adults did not take her seriously. Nor did the children from school. From that very day, she was called a freaky dreamer with weird red hair.
Little Redhead talked about the mountains she would cross, the oceans she would pass, and the places she would visit. Her beloved destination was Starwood. Starwood was a faraway land and a dark place on Earth but it seemed that mysterious places tamed Klaudia as she was seeking a real adventure.
Years were passing by. She grew older and eventually one day, she said to her mother.
‘That is the day Mom. I am ready!’
‘Are you sure my little girl?’ Asked mother.
‘More than ever Mom! More than ever Dad.’
The decision was made. Nothing could stop her. Unfortunately, her enemies were not sleeping. Indeed, they were watching her more than ever, cunningly trying to convince her to stay. She had a witch auntie and a witch cousin in her family, who were trying to turn her dreams down. Both were working very hard to achieve the goal but brave Little Redhead resiliently followed her dreams.
As she never gave up, she finally stood on the hill of Starhood, enjoying the view of her beloved city, she exclaimed to herself;
‘That was worth the effort but I did not know that it is so lonely on the top of the world.’
Just a few seconds later, devious, mysterious and glooming creatures appeared.
‘Who are you?’ — Asked the little redhead.
‘My name is Destination and this is my sister Hardship.’ — Exclaimed staring into her eyes.
‘It is a pleasure to meet you. What are you doing in here?’
‘We were waiting for you Dear!’
‘Oh, for me?’ Asked Klaudia still trying to figure out how would they know her.
‘Indeed, little one.’
‘How come? We just met.’ — Asked Little Redhead.
‘ Well, ask destination!’ — Advised Hardship.
‘You see, little one, what is meant to be, will find its way to you.’
‘You are not afraid of us, are you?’
‘I am not! I am the bravest one! I do not fear the dark night, nor I fear creatures like you!’ — Stated proudly Klaudia.
‘See? That is what we are talking about. You would be if it was not meant.’
‘Destination get to the point! You will bore her to death.’
‘Not yet, not yet. First I must ask her a few questions.’
‘Go ahead!’ — Shouted a little redhead.
‘What is the purpose of your life?’ — Asked the destination.
‘Well, I don’t know. I am still looking for it.’
‘Fair enough! Then tell me what do you crave the most?’
‘I don’t know, I am still looking for it.’
‘Fair enough! Then tell me whom do you love fiercely?’
‘Well, I don’t know, I am still looking for him…’
‘Fair enough little one. See? That is life. A long journey filled with adventures, ups and downs but what matters the most is that we keep looking for it, every single day.’
Chapter 2. Lost in the middle of golden sands
“If you are lost, just wait a bit. Maybe the winds are changing…”
One cold morning Little Redhead decided to go to the desert. She was driving through the hills and mountains. When Little Redhead finally found the place, her smile broadened and her eyes winked. She also got goose skin as the view was outstandingly beautiful. After a few minutes, Little Redhead started jumping through sandy dunes. This adventure was marvelous. After five hours, she got tired and decided to take a short nap in the shade. Then dreams came.
When she woke up, she rubbed her eyes and realized that she is not alone. Indeed, two creatures approached her.
‘Wake up!’ Cunningly whispered the first creature.
‘Come along!’ Screamed the second one.
‘Who are you?’ Asked Little Redhead still not believing that there are people in the middle of nowhere.
‘My name is Temptation.’ Introduced herself the first one.
