The story begins in a land called the Valley of Green Hills, where Wojtek and his friends, a group of neighborhood children, were playing in the open space. Suddenly, a giant dragon appeared over the valley, emitting a terrifying roar and breathing fire. Wojtek’s friends, terrified, were trapped on a hill, surrounded by flames. Without hesitation, Wojtek decided to save them. He put on his cardboard helmet, grabbed his wooden sword, and set out to the rescue. Along the way, he met an old sage who gave him a magical shield that reflected fire. Thanks to it, Wojtek could safely pass through the flames and reach his friends. When he stood face to face with the dragon, Wojtek felt no fear. His courage and determination were stronger than anything else. With great agility, he dodged the flames breathed by the dragon, while trying to find a way to defeat the beast. In the climactic moment of the duel, Wojtek used his sword to reflect a beam of sunlight into the dragon’s eyes, blinding it momentarily. During this time, he quickly led his friends to a safe shelter. When everyone was safe, Wojtek used the last gift from the sage — a magical horn whose sound had the power to calm wild beasts. When Wojtek blew the horn, the dragon calmed down and disappeared into the clouds. Wojtek’s friends were immensely grateful to him and declared him their hero.

Thus ended another adventure of Wojtek, who returned to his room, full of new ideas for more fantastic adventures.

Wojtek quickly meets with Sergeant Kowalski, who will be his guide and mentor throughout the day. Sergeant Kowalski, an experienced and strict, but also fair soldier, introduces Wojtek to the rigors of military life. The first lesson is discipline, a key element of military life. Wojtek learns that order and obedience are not only a sign of respect, but also necessary to function in such an organized structure as the army.
