Gerald R. Schmidt was born in 1937 in Chicago. Earned B Arch from U of Illinois 1966. Licensed 1972. Earned MA Theol Franciscan U Steubenville, Ohio 1996. Keeps timeline of historic events concerning Royal Pomerania. Into this timeline he has grafted family events in the Schmidt and Karnowski sides of his ancestors. Valentine K was his great-grandfather. He spent many years exploring religious life and has been a student of Polish history since discovery of his Polish descent at age eight.
