Épître à Cesar de Nostredame mon Fils.

“…for the hereditary word of the secret prophecy

will intertwine within my stomach…”

Letter to Caesar from Nostradamus, my son.

Introduction

For centuries, one name has simultaneously evoked fascination, admiration, and unease: Nostradamus. A man whose life and work seem to shift the boundaries of time itself. Quatrains, almanacs, notes written in mirror script — this was not coincidence, not a literary game, but a carefully constructed system that made it possible to look where most people never had the courage or the ability to look: into the future.

Most interpreters call him a prophet, a visionary, a genius. I propose a bolder thesis: Nostradamus did not predict the future — he saw it. He did not divine it, but received it, like a radio receiver tuned to the frequency of a world that had not yet come into being. He did not write for his contemporaries. He concealed the truth in ciphers, allegories, symbols, and quatrains, because he knew that the true recipient of his message would appear only hundreds of years later.

To understand his phenomenon, we must break free from the comfortable frameworks of traditional interpretation. We enter a world where neurobiology meets gnosis, quantum physics intertwines with esotericism, and ancient rituals reveal the mechanisms of consciousness. Contemporary science suggests that the human brain generates electromagnetic waves which, under certain conditions, can carry information like subtle carriers.

Through mental discipline, observation of the sky, prayer, abstinence, moments of illumination, and sometimes pure chance, Nostradamus reached states that today we might call a “brain antenna” — the ability to receive signals from beyond the framework of the present.

He was not a medium of gods, nor a random visionary. He was a conscious operator of his own mind. His quatrains, which seem inaccessible and chaotic, are in reality a precisely encoded map of world history.

Every image, every word, every number had its meaning. Every verse was part of a system whose key is hidden in the almanacs and notes dated from the year 1555. It is precisely then, in that single year, that his work begins to arrange itself into a coherent structure — a system of ciphers leading to the understanding of a history that did not yet exist.

To grasp his genius, we must view him from several perspectives at once. From the standpoint of neurophysiology: Nostradamus’s brain entered highly plastic states, capable of processing information in ways that modern science is only beginning to understand. From the standpoint of gnosis and religious symbolism: his visions were reflections of the archetypal structure of the universe, hidden in myths, rituals, and alchemical metaphors.

From the perspective of quantum physics and consciousness: he could enter a stream of information that does not obey linear spacetime, accessible only to those who have mastered the art of “seeing beyond time.”

This is not a story about an accidental genius. It is the story of a man who consciously crossed the boundaries of human mental capacity, preparing himself to receive what for others remained inaccessible. Every movement, every study, every meditation was part of one great experiment — an experiment on himself and on what human beings can perceive when they go beyond the limits of the present.

This book is an attempt to reconstruct his method, decipher his gnosis, and understand the biological, cosmic, and spiritual mechanisms of his visions. It is an attempt to look at Nostradamus not as a mysterious prophet, but as a master of his own mind — a man who learned to receive the signal of the future and transform it into a language so enigmatic that its true recipient would appear only hundreds of years later — in us.

Thus we enter a labyrinth that shows that the world described by Nostradamus is not the world of his times — it is our world, our times, our history yet to be written.

This is a “story” about a man who reached the source of the Self. About the neurology of prophets, the physics of consciousness, the mechanisms of the mind, and about the fact that the answers to humanity’s oldest questions may be biological, cosmic, and spiritual at the same time. It is also a story that shows that thanks to Nostradamus we can look at the future with a courage and understanding we have never had before.

First: The Carrier of Information

Electromagnetic radiation is defined as a disturbance of the electromagnetic field propagating through space. The electric and magnetic components of the wave mutually induce each other — a changing electric field generates a changing magnetic field, and in turn a changing magnetic field generates a changing electric field. The properties of electromagnetic waves depend on wavelength. Wavelength is inversely proportional to frequency. In the quantum description, electromagnetic radiation is treated as a stream of massless elementary particles called photons, whose energy depends on the wavelength.

A photon (light) is an elementary particle with no electric charge or magnetic moment, and zero rest mass. Depending on the energy of photons, the radiation they form has different names (from the highest photon energy): gamma radiation, X-rays, ultraviolet, visible light, infrared radiation, microwaves, radio waves. However, from a physical point of view all these types of radiation have the same nature. Photons move at the speed of light. In a vacuum, photons move along paths slightly curved by the gravitational fields of celestial bodies. This curvature can lead to gravitational lensing. Proportionally, as the frequency of waves decreases, photon energy decreases, while wavelength increases.

link — https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foton

A particularly interesting area in the context of electromagnetic waves are very low-frequency waves, whose properties and potential range in cosmic space arouse the curiosity of physicists and researchers of energy propagation phenomena. Theoretically, at frequencies from 3 to 0.3 Hz, wavelengths would range from approximately 100,000 to 1 million kilometers. The energy of individual photons of such waves is extremely small, but formally non-zero.

With decreasing frequency, these waves reach sizes comparable to interplanetary distances.

With regard to radio waves, we distinguish submillimeter, millimeter waves, etc. Kilometer waves (long, LF) with frequencies of 30–300 kHz have wavelengths from 10 to one kilometer. The longest known radio waves, ELF, have frequencies from 3 to 30 Hz and wavelengths of 100,000–10,000 kilometers.

link — http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fale_radiowe

Brain waves are also known: gamma (frequency 40–100 Hz), beta (12–28 Hz), alpha (8–13 Hz), theta (4–7 Hz), delta (0.5–3 Hz).

link — http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fale_m%C3%B3zgowe

The longest known ELF radio waves have frequencies from 3 to 30 Hz and lengths from 10,000 to 100,000 kilometers. Meanwhile, human brain waves fall within the range from 0.5 Hz to about 100 Hz, divided into: delta (0.5–3 Hz), theta (4–7 Hz), alpha (8–13 Hz), beta (12–28 Hz), and gamma (40–100 Hz). Delta waves are the lowest, appearing in deep sleep and in extreme states close to the boundary of life — although they do not define that boundary literally, but signal minimal brain activity.

If we assume that brain waves have properties analogous to electromagnetic waves, they can be treated as a kind of “information carrier” similar to radio waves. Their energy is extremely small and is not transmitted in the form of photons in the physical sense, but metaphorically they can be perceived as packets of energy sent into space.

At this point it is worth emphasizing that information is not identical with energy. From the perspective of information theory, a signal carrier can transmit complex informational structures with minimal energy input. Information is encoded in rhythm, frequency, and temporal relationships, not in the “strength” of the signal itself. Even signals with extremely low energy can contain ordered patterns that, under appropriate conditions, are subject to interpretation and integration.

Just as the relic radiation of the Universe remains in the vacuum for billions of years, so too the “information” contained in brain waves could, on an analogous scale, remain in space.

Although the scale and energy of radio waves and brain waves differ radically, all of them function as carriers of information, allowing us to view the brain as a local station in a vast, cosmic network of signals, through which an infinite number of information packets flow — from microwave background radiation, through radio waves, to brain waves.

For me, however, more important than the physical aspect is the biological one: brain waves arise from neuronal activity and are modulated by neurotransmitters — primarily dopamine — as well as by processes of neurogenesis.

The key parameter of these processes is not signal amplitude, but coherence and synchronization of neuronal activity. It is precisely synchronized oscillations between distant brain regions that enable information integration, the emergence of states of consciousness, and boundary experiences. The brain then functions not as a collection of isolated neurons, but as a network of co-oscillating systems, in which meaning arises from temporal relationships, not from local signal intensity.

Thanks to this, it becomes possible to achieve states of deep concentration, heightened perception, or boundary experiences. In extreme states, such as NDEs, delta waves define minimal brain activity at which contact with cognitive functions may still exist.

Delta waves are not merely a signal of sleep or “shutdown” of the brain. They are rather a moment in which the ordinary way of processing reality gives way to another mode of existence of consciousness.

The continuous stream of stimuli and thoughts disappears, and in its place appears a state of deep silence, in which the boundaries between the “self” and the rest of the world become less distinct. Consciousness does not disappear — it only changes its form.

In this perspective, the brain ceases to be something isolated. It becomes one of many places where information takes on a temporary form — like a wave appearing on the surface of the ocean. The Universe can then be perceived not as a collection of dead objects, but as a space of constant flow of signals, rhythms, and impulses, each carrying a trace of what happened before.

Second: Hormones and Neurogenesis

At the breakthrough moment, when the brain begins to form, the male fetus is subjected to the action of a massive dose of male hormone. The level of this hormone at that time is four times higher than the level it will reach throughout infancy and childhood. A rapid surge of male hormone also occurs at another breakthrough moment in male development — during puberty.

Who we are, how we behave, how we think and feel, is not directed by the heart, but by the brain. And the brain, its structure and functioning, is influenced by hormones. The influence of hormones on the brain is two-stage. During brain development in the mother’s womb, hormones control the formation of the network connection patterns. Later, during puberty, hormones return to the brain in order to activate the network they previously created.

Despite visible differences between the sexes already in childhood, until sexual maturity the same hormones circulate in the bodies of boys and girls in the same quantities. In girls, the level of the female hormone begins to rise at about eight years of age, and menstruation appears around the age of thirteen. In boys, hormones begin to act two years later. The most important hormone in boys is testosterone, whose level rises and becomes twenty times higher than in girls.

quote: A. Moir, D. Jessel. Brain Sex.

Thus, testosterone is the “intermediary” between the gonads and the male brain. His body secretes testosterone, as we already know, in the greatest quantities during the fetal period and during puberty. As shown by the result of a certain experiment on mice, the production of nerve cells in the hippocampus doubles as a result of their intense running on a wheel treadmill, which they also used without any coercion. As a result of physical exertion, the level of testosterone in the body increases, and this in turn causes neurogenesis.

Sexual positions during intercourse require significant physical effort, and in order for these efforts not to end in failure (which would result in the absence of fertilization), the human body produces enormous amounts of testosterone during intercourse. During ejaculation, the sympathetic nervous system introduces short-term regulation of blood flow and bodily tension, which causes a temporary reduction in testosterone levels and a momentary calming.

The elimination, even if only temporary, of the sympathetic nervous system, in the form of refraining from ejaculation for as long as possible, causes elevated testosterone levels in the body, which consequently leads to increased “above-normal” neurogenesis. It is precisely thanks to physical activity in children and adolescents that their young organism produces increased amounts of testosterone. This testosterone, in turn, prepares the gonads for their basic function — procreation — and also “incidentally” causes (indirectly) a significant impact on cognitive functions and brain plasticity.

All these elements — testosterone, physical effort, increase in IQ, neurogenesis — are very strongly interconnected; they form an interdependence. Thanks to this “phenomenon,” the enormous physical activity of children in humans and all other mammals becomes understandable. This mobility is in a way subconsciously forced by the organism. The lack of an appropriate level of physical activity and the related hormonal processes can limit optimal neurogenesis and to some extent slow the development of cognitive functions.

If we remain with physical analogies, neurogenesis — that is, the formation of new nerve cells — can be compared to a radio receiver, and the neurotransmitter dopamine to a factor modulating the frequency of signal reception.

And here we arrive at the issue of frequency and, more importantly, the amplitude of the radio wave signal (the brain wave — the carrier of information).

Human beings, sometimes consciously, sometimes unconsciously, sometimes in accordance with providence, and sometimes quite the opposite, have gained access to appropriate brain frequencies. They have done so in various ways: by achieving, forcing, or accidentally experiencing such access. Sometimes a sudden, almost accidental breakthrough of electrical activity in the brain occurs, which can be compared to an electrical breakdown through an insulator in technology — this phenomenon is not mystical in nature, but results from imperfections in biological mechanisms.

Third: The Self and Signals

Pythia — the priestess of Apollo who delivered prophecies. The Pythias were chosen by a college of priests and raised from childhood at the temple. During prophecy, the Pythia sat on a tripod in the adyton of the temple, allegedly above a fissure from which vapors rose from the earth. More likely, however, intoxicating incenses were burned in the adyton, under whose influence the Pythia fell into a kind of ecstasy and uttered loose words, which were then used by the priests to produce the text of the answer. […]

Sibyl — the name of prophetesses among various ancient peoples. Nothing certain is known about their names, number, or origin. Plato speaks of one, Aristotle and Aristophanes of several, and in Varro’s time ten were known. Greek Sibyls were associated with the cult of Apollo and usually prophesied near his oracles. Roman Sibyls were also known, as well as a Hebrew one — Sabba, who was identified with yet another Babylonian one.

quote: Small Encyclopedia of Ancient Culture

The ability to give prophecies, which the Pythias possessed, was not caused by vapors rising from the depths of the Earth, nor was it produced by intoxicating incenses. This state of rapture, exaltation — that is, ecstasy — was from the very beginning a carefully conceived and planned work of the priests, who used these girls, and later women, for their ignoble purposes.

Human sexuality, and in particular the influence of testosterone on the brain, has significant neurobiological importance. The example of great apes — bonobos — indicates that frequent, non-reproductive sexual activity promotes the dominance of the parasympathetic nervous system, which leads to reduced stress levels, improved emotional regulation, and increased blood flow to brain structures.

This state can indirectly support neurogenesis and neuronal plasticity, especially in areas associated with learning and social bonding.

A natural moment regulating nervous system tension is ejaculation, which is associated with a temporary switching of the organism into a discharge mode of arousal. This is accompanied by a short-term activation of sympathetic mechanisms, after which there is a reduction in tension, a drop in blood pressure, and a subjective sense of calm. Hormonal balance also changes — especially in dopamine, prolactin, and testosterone — which affects levels of energy and motivation, though it does not mean a permanent reduction in testosterone.

Neurogenesis is not a process occurring throughout the entire brain, but mainly concerns the hippocampus, the area responsible for memory and learning. It is the result of favorable biological conditions: good cerebral blood flow, low stress levels, and stable emotional regulation. In other areas of the brain, including the cortex, plasticity of connections dominates rather than the formation of new neurons.

An average person, who periodically engages in sexual activity, can be compared to a reservoir with a dam, from which water is periodically released. Each discharge lowers the level of tension, pressure, and excitation of the nervous system. Bonobos function differently — thanks to almost constant socio-sexual stimulation, they maintain a high but stable level of arousal with simultaneously low stress levels. Instead of violent discharges, they experience continuous regulation, which favors brain plasticity and neurogenesis in the hippocampus.

From time to time, these tensions are naturally neutralized through procreation, which in this perspective does not contradict the whole mechanism, but constitutes its biological closure.

Let us imagine what would happen if this state of tension — continuous sexual arousal — were extended infinitely and not eliminated by regulatory mechanisms of the sympathetic nervous system. Such a state of constant tension I would compare to a huge waterfall, which would not only cause neurogenesis, but in effect would lead the organism and the entire nervous system into ecstasy — rapture, exaltation.

Such ecstasy can only be compared to the orgasm that every already “adult” reader (regardless of whether during sexual intercourse, stimulation, or nocturnal emission) has experienced. As is known, such climax lasts a few, several seconds. The lack of natural brakes in the form of tension discharge may first cause a streamlet, then a river, and finally an endless cascade of constant sexual dissatisfaction, which in consequence leads to ecstasy.

What the effects of such ecstasy may be can be understood by the example of the priestesses of the Apollonian oracles. These girls, and later women, were not in fact raised in temples, but isolated from normal social life and subordinated to ritual, becoming tools in the hands of the priests responsible for the functioning of the oracle.

This was not literal “fortune-telling,” but the effect of a deep state of ecstasy and trance, in which a significant change in the functioning of the priestess’s brain occurred. In such a state, consciousness was transformed, and utterances took on for the surroundings the character of a “superhuman” message.

It can be said that the priestess’s brain then functioned as a kind of biological “antenna,” capable of generating content interpreted religiously as “contact with a god” — that is, the experience of a deep, inner Self, lived and described in the language of its era.

Let us note that these “raised” girls could leave the temple only when their ritual usefulness diminished, which can be linked, among other things, to age and hormonal changes. These women were subjected to a regime of sexual abstinence which, in an atmosphere of strong arousal, desire, and permanent sexual tension, often led to compensatory behaviors such as masturbation or homoerotic relations — in these conditions entirely understandable from a psychological point of view. To intensify the trance state, priestesses were sometimes isolated even from their companions of fate, which further increased their susceptibility to altered states of consciousness.

All that I write here is of fundamental importance for understanding trance and visionary experiences, interpreted as human contact through a symbolic “brain antenna” — not with an old man with a gray beard, but with an immaterial, infinite, and undefined reality, described in the language of the era as a stream of thought or the Self. In this sense, sexual abstinence was not the source of “paranormal abilities,” but one of the tools for intensifying inner experience, leading to a state in which the mind became a susceptible carrier of symbolic and projective content.

Prophecies or visions?

What connects Leonardo da Vinci, Nostradamus, and Malachy is their almost genius-level ability to foresee the future. In the case of Nostradamus, this ability essentially concerned time itself, while Leonardo anticipated it through his scientific research and inventions. Despite this one difference, everything else is identical.

First, each of them, before becoming a great visionary, was first initiated into all the arcana of esoteric knowledge. Leonardo da Vinci was a follower of pantheism and was also a member of the Priory of Sion — which explains much. Homosexual tendencies, I believe, may have been the result of self-restriction of one’s natural sexual impulses, which could produce experiences similar to those of the Sibyls. Nostradamus was initiated by his grandparents (astrology, Kabbalah). Malachy’s connections with the Cistercians and St. Bernard lead to the Poor Knights of Christ.

Second, all of them encrypted their prophecies so that they would be unreadable to their contemporaries, and at the same time so expressive that their genius would be not only obvious, but indisputable. Leonardo’s notes were so incomprehensible to others that he did not even have to encrypt them. Nostradamus encoded his prophecies in such a way that to this day the number of correct interpretations is small, and prophecies concerning the future are downright episodic. The same applies to Malachy.

Third, all discoveries made gradually by other researchers, scientists, and also history itself, post factum, confirm the truth of their prophetic visions.

All these facts form the basis for drawing a very interesting conclusion. Namely, I believe that Leonardo da Vinci, Nostradamus, and Malachy did not so much predict the future as see it — which is confirmed by their almost one-hundred-percent accuracy.

At this point, an even more interesting conclusion arises: if all these visionaries saw the future and hid it so ingeniously from the uninitiated, and later discoveries and the course of history in many cases seem to confirm their visions, then the most probable motive for their actions appears to be their deep faith, supported by the certainty that their prophecies or notes were not intended for contemporaries, but for future generations.

The completion of this conclusion are the extraordinary “voice visions” of Joan of Arc, Lucia dos Santos, and Faustina Kowalska.

90 out of 100 recorded cases of apparitions have children as the recipients and transmitters of these transcendental phenomena. Does it follow from this objective fact that the child’s brain in the period preceding puberty and during puberty produces some special currents that facilitate access to another sphere of consciousness or subconsciousness?

quote: Erich von Däniken, Revelations

Writing these words, Erich von Däniken certainly did not realize how close he was to the truth — he only touched the “door handle,” but he lacked the knowledge and the spiritus movens to open the “door.” He passed by, on his own path. And yet these two sentences — one a statement of fact, the other a question — formulate the final conclusion in an excellent way.

That “the child’s brain during puberty produces special currents that facilitate access to deeper layers of consciousness or subconsciousness” is perfectly illustrated by the case of Jesus.

According to Christian tradition, divine providence accompanied Jesus from the moment of conception, and at key moments of his life special neurobiological mechanisms — which can metaphorically be described as a “brain antenna” — enabled him to perceive spiritual reality in an exceptional way.

Other examples of contact with another sphere of consciousness are the visions of Joan of Arc, who at the age of 13 began to experience supernatural visions and hear heavenly voices, and the apparitions to three Portuguese children: 7-year-old Jacinta, 9-year-old Francisco, and 10-year-old Lucia dos Santos in Fatima. Tradition holds that Joan preserved her virginity, and that the visions of the Fatima children had a spiritual-supernatural character.

Each of these cases of “contact” with the Self could be possible thanks to exceptional neurobiological conditions. In the case of children, this was a natural process, which with maturation underwent various modifications, such as persistent prayer or sexual abstinence (the example of Joan of Arc). Visionaries, in order to achieve a similar effect, used the previously discussed methods of brain stimulation and intensification of neurogenesis processes, which can be described as hyper-neurogenesis.

Centuries of Nostradamus — deliberately scattered puzzles

Atlantis — a legendary great island in the Atlantic Ocean, whose powerful rulers in the 9th millennium BCE were said to rule over all of Libya and Western Europe. They were allegedly stopped from further conquests by the brave ancestors of the Athenians. As a result of an earthquake, the flourishing state of Atlantis sank into the Ocean. A small island was said to remain on the surface, which could not be reached because the book describing the route to Atlantis was lost. This myth was recorded by Plato in the dialogue Timaeus, giving as its source the oral tradition preserved in the family of Solon, who in turn was said to have heard this story from a certain Egyptian priest.

quote: Small Encyclopedia of Ancient Culture

Oh Plato, Plato — if only you knew how much confusion and misunderstanding among the uninitiated and the “sleeping” this seemingly authentic dialogue would cause. I do not know whether to laugh or cry over the naivety of those “scientists” who search for traces of Atlantis in almost every corner of the world, when in fact it is only a sophisticated mystification, into whose net new ranks of atlantologists constantly fall.

They cite arguments and evidence from various fields: astronomy, archaeology, geography, medicine, religious studies, and even metaphysics — and yet Plato, writing this dialogue, deliberately encrypted one single, but very important piece of information in its content.

Not the approximate location, nor even Atlantis itself, is important, but the shape of the canals surrounding the former capital.

Both in Plato and in Nostradamus, the narrative does not serve to describe the world, but to conceal it from the uninitiated. Many such “stops” can still be noticed in our history. I mention the case of “Atlantis” not without reason, because equally time-consuming and misleading is the main subject of this text — the Centuries of Nostradamus.

That this was the author’s intention, I do not even have to argue — the completely misguided exegesis of most quatrains confirms it. I believe that MN deliberately mixed their order, like proverbial puzzles, in order to divert the attention of potential seekers from the easier-to-decode gnosis encoded in the form of Almanacs and Prophecies.

It is the same knowledge — visions of historical events that were to occur from times closest to Nostradamus, through times contemporary to us, up to an inevitable future that we do not know, but which he was given to “see.”

What more can be added. Whatever I would argue here will in any case be too weak in relation to what MN left us in his “testament.” This also contains my proposal that we first focus our attention on the “less complicated” option, after decoding which it will be all the easier for us to understand the code of the centurial quatrains.

Source texts

There is a great deal of commonly circulating popular information about Nostradamus on the internet: about his biography, about the “soon-to-come” Third World War, and finally hundreds, if not thousands, of various interpretations of his centurial quatrains. It is enough to type the phrase “prophecies of Nostradamus” into a search engine to find more than fifty pages. The issue is not the great interest in the subject, but the fact that this abundance of information causes a problem with selecting truly valuable sources.

To become familiar with basic information, there is no sense in digging through the entire internet — what Wikipedia provides is sufficient. The problem begins only when a given individual intends to delve deeper into the labyrinth of MN’s gnosis.

The best method is to “learn from the best.” For me, one of the most reliable places on the web, besides the original texts of Nostradamus himself, is the C.U.R.A. website (The International Astrology Research Center).

link — http://cura.free.fr/index.html

Particularly useful is the section: Corpus Nostradamus, which publishes studies of original early prints, as well as many analytical texts concerning the entirety of MN’s literary legacy. There is, however, one inconvenience of this portal — it operates on a paid subscription basis. For unregistered users, the creator of this forum, Patrice Guinard, has nevertheless made available many important and interesting texts.

Thus, there is source material, as well as a whole spectrum of interpretations: the less serious and the more scientific — and yet the matter of decoding the gnosis of MN’s prophecies remains at a standstill.

Even more, all previous a posteriori attempts do not confirm earlier proposals; thus the most important thing is missing — confirmation (falsification) of most prophecies, especially those referring to times contemporary to us.

At this point, a saying of Albert Einstein comes to my mind: "Everybody knows that something is impossible to do, until someone comes along who doesn’t know that, and does it.” Calmly — interpretations are interpretations; the point is not to forcibly fit facts to a theory. The theory itself must be confirmed by evidence, so, not to prolong matters — the next texts will already be concrete examples authenticating the genius of Nostradamus.

1555 Prophecies — the Thread of Ariadne

Introduction

Delving into the thicket of the Centuries, it is certain that sooner or later many a bold explorer will end up on the byways of esoteric knowledge. Thus, keeping in mind that this symbolic wagon with the inscription “decoded gnosis” should reach its destination as a concrete, and not a “floating,” argument, I present my exegesis of Nostradamus’s gnosis.

To begin with, the year 1555, which for me is a proverbial Thread of Ariadne. This year is encoded in various ways: by the Prognostication — written in prose, by the Prophecy — quatrains, and by the Almanac. In my view, this year constitutes encoded knowledge about events from the beginning of the 20th century, while all subsequent Nostradamian years “narrate” progressively later periods of our history.

The year 1555 represents a period of about forty years of our history. Going backward in history, Nostradamus encodes earlier periods.

Thus, the year 1554 tells of the most significant historical events witnessed by people living in the second half of the 19th century, with a final chord that roughly closes that century — namely, the First World War. The year 1553 — going further back — is the turn of the 18th/19th century, and so on.

At this point it is certainly too early for such a conclusion, but on the basis of the year 1555 alone, one may state that Nostradamus, through his Prophecies and Almanacs, does not predict, does not divine, but SAW the future with such precision that more than one history textbook could envy him.

That these events occurred and will still occur, including the entire secret knowledge of MN, is another topic. All the texts of Nostradamus that I analyze do not have the value of a finished, closed interpretation. Certainly something can be added or removed; in many places I may simply have omitted something. Undoubtedly the translation requires correction (the Google one is often not very creative), but the general principle, in my opinion, is extremely clear.

Pleurs, plainctz, & riz, eaux, glace pain ne donne.

V.S.C. paix, l’armee passera.

1. “Le gros Erain, qui les heures ordonne”

= “The mighty Erain, who governs the hours.”

A massive bronze bell — this is information about tsardom, the system of exercising power in pre-revolutionary Russia.

2. “Sus le trespas du tyran cassera”

= “After the death of the tyrant there will be a collapse / breakdown.”

The death of the tyrant — since in its essence the form of rule in tsarist Russia was effectively tyranny — this refers to the death of Tsar Nicholas II and his entire family. The broken bell — that is, the end of tsardom in Russia.

3. “Pleurs, plainctz, & riz, eaux, glace pain ne donne”

= “Tears, complaints, and rice, waters, ice give no bread.”

The slogans used by communists during demonstrations and workers’ strikes were most often: “We demand work and bread.”

4. “V.S.C. paix, l’armee passera.”

= “V.S.C. peace, the army will pass.”

V. S. C. — encrypted information about the Bolshevik party.

V. — l’Union, Univers (All-Union)

S. — Socjety — Party (Society)

C. — Communist, communism (Communism)

1918—1925 RCP(b), Russian Communist Party (Bolsheviks)

1925—1952 AUCP(b), All-Union Communist Party

The quatrains from the Prognostication of 1555 are supplemented by a prose description, which also has its hidden meaning. Particularly valuable and interesting are the descriptions of the “state of the weather,” which can be regarded as an onomatopoeic-symbolic state in which a given society or group of people finds itself.

— Ianvier sera pleine Lune

= A solstice, the end of one period, time for a new one.

— le 7 à 8 heures 35 mi. en Cancer, attrempé, puis pluyes, neiges, vents glaces: mauvais temps.

= The events that took place on November 6 and 7 (according to the Julian calendar in force in Russia, October 24 and 25) 1917 in Petrograd went down in history as the October Revolution.

= The 15th, that is roughly the middle of the discussed period: the overthrown Kerensky government, which attempted to retake Petrograd seized by the Bolsheviks. However, the assault attempt was repelled by the Bolsheviks.

Between November 9–15 (October 27–November 2), the Bolsheviks, thanks to reinforcements from Petrograd, seized power in Moscow.

= The time when the Bolsheviks took power throughout all of Russia. The country was then awaiting an exceptionally bloody and brutal civil war.

The symbolic “January 1555” in Nostradamus’s code represents the entire process of the fall of tsardom and the Bolsheviks’ rise to power — from the solstice, through the escalation of chaos, to the final seizure of the state. The description of the “weather” becomes a metaphor for the revolutionary storm: growing cold, winds, and darkness that foretell a long, bloody, and ruthless civil war.

February 1555

Pres du Leman la frayeur sera grande.

Par le conseil, cela ne peut faillir,

Le nouveau Roy fait apprester sa bande,

Le jeune meurt, faim, peur fera saillir.

1. “Pres du Leman la frayeur sera grande.”

= “Near Leman the fear will be great.”

This is information about the Polish-Bolshevik War (1919–1921).

In 1920 near Leman there were heavy fights between the troops of the 15th Greater Poland Infantry Division and the Bolshevik 3rd Cavalry Corps of Gay-Khan.

link — http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leman

2. “Par le conseil, cela ne peut faillir,”

= “By the council, this cannot fail,”

This verse indicates that the central, commanding communist authorities acted with absolute effectiveness and determination to impose their political and economic system, even at the cost of terror and famine. The Council of People’s Commissars was the highest executive authority in Soviet Russia, and later in the USSR, established after the October Revolution of 1917.

3. “Le nouveau Roy fait apprester sa bande,”

= “The new king prepares his band,”

The new king — certainly refers to the new hegemon — communist Russia, but also more literally to Lenin, who through war communism and the terror of Felix Dzerzhinsky (Cheka) indeed inspired fear.

The summary of this period was the show trial of the SRs (1922) and, on that occasion, the introduction of the new Soviet criminal code, whose notorious Article 58 — written personally by Lenin’s hand — legitimized a system of terror against opponents of the Bolshevik Party’s rule, whether real or potential.

link — http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wielki_terror_(ZSRR)

4. “Le jeune meurt, faim, peur fera saillir”

= “The young dies, hunger and fear will bring it out.”

The result of introducing the communist economic model was widespread famine in Soviet Russia.

War Communism, however, proved to be a failure, and after less than 30 months of its implementation the Soviet economy collapsed completely. Famine prevailed in Russia, it was impossible to stop the further decline in industrial and agricultural production, and the introduction of central planning did not prevent the deepening of economic chaos. Uprisings became increasingly frequent, and over 200% inflation (hyperinflation) led to the rejection of money as a means of payment.

= The full moon, that is, a solstice. The Polish-Bolshevik War.

= The Battle of Warsaw (August 13–25). August 15 — the decisive clash at Radzymin. A “new” situation in the war, the retreat of the Red Army.

= Counteroffensive, peace treaty.

February 1555 presents a full, precisely captured sequence of the Polish-Bolshevik War, from its culmination to the final reversal of the conflict’s fate. The symbolic “weather states” describe the atmosphere of the times: growing fear, omnipresent wartime chaos, the coming breakthrough (the Battle of Warsaw), and the final stabilization through the Polish counteroffensive and the peace treaty that ends the “storm” over Eastern Europe.

March 1555

Classe, copie, eau, vent, l’ombriche ceindre,

Mer, terre, trefve, l’amy à L. V. c’est joinct.

1. “O Mars cruel, que tu seras à craindre:”

= “O cruel Mars, how much you will be feared:”

Mars is the god of war; this planet is best personified by Germany. Fear of Mars — fear of Germany’s military ambitions, of a cruel totalitarian system — fascism.

2. “Plus est la faulx, avec l’argent conjoinct,”

= “The scythe is stronger when joined with silver.”

This is encoded information about the Treaty of Rapallo concluded between the German Reich and Soviet Russia on April 16, 1922.

3. “Classe, copie, eau, vent, l’ombriche ceindre,”

= “Class and copy, water and wind, encircle the shadow,”

Hitler’s rise to power and the remilitarization of the Rhineland can be read as the moment when the shadow of totalitarianism is covered and spread by structures (class, copy) and the elements of changeability (water, wind).

4. “Mer, terre, trefve, l’amy à L. V. c’est joinct”

= “Sea, land, clover — the friend of L. V. is joined.”

This verse encodes the League of Nations — that is, peace for Europe, with the United States as its main guarantor. L. V. should be understood as Lander Verein — Association of Countries. Since the quatrain concerns Mars, the German language is fully appropriate here.

= Rosa Luxemburg, the Communist Party of Germany.

— chaude, humide, vents, temps muable.

= The Weimar Republic.

= The beginning of the “new” era, the era of fascism — Hitler’s rise to power.

= The League of Nations — the United States were indeed to be a bulwark against the rising wave of two totalitarianisms.

March 1555 shows the growing dread of totalitarian Germany and Italy, from the political and military tensions of the Weimar Republic to the rise of Mussolini’s fascism and Hitler’s accession to power. The symbolic descriptions of the weather encode chaos and instability, while also pointing to attempts to establish order through the League of Nations and the United States as a potential bulwark against the coming wave of totalitarianism.

April 1555

1. “De n’avoir garde seras plus offensé,”

= “For lack of caution you will be even more harmed.”

Just as “March” told of the first period of the interwar twenty years, so April constitutes the continuation of that period — a “wounded” Europe.

2. “Le foible fort, l’inquiet pacifique.”

= “The weak strong, the restless peaceful.”

The first two verses literally describe the harm inflicted on individual European states: Spain, Austria, Czechoslovakia — all “thanks” to the careless policy of the Entente — especially Great Britain. Neville Chamberlain’s “great success” in Munich.

3. “La faim on crye, le peuple est oppressé:”

= “Hunger cries out, the people are oppressed.”

Hunger — the Great Famine in Ukraine.

4. “La mer rougit le long fier & inique.”

= “The sea reddens along the proud and unjust.”

In the last verse, Nostradamus encodes information about Mussolini’s attack on Abyssinia. The “long” shape — the shape of the “Italian boot.”

= The invasion of “white” Italy into Abyssinia.

— Dernier quart le 14 à 4 mi. En Aquarius pluye, brouillatz, temps muable, donnant conseil bellique.

= The Munich Agreement — the last chance to preserve peace.

— Nouvelle Lune le 20 à 18 h. 1 mi. en Aries, chaude, humide, tendant à bon temps, dangereux brouillats.

= Kristallnacht — a new stage of the Jewish question.

= The “first” manifestation of the new era — the occupation of Czech lands (Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia).

April 1555 depicts the escalation of tensions in interwar Europe: from Mussolini’s aggression in Abyssinia, through the clumsy attempts to preserve peace in Munich, to the growing violence against the Jewish population and the occupation of Czech lands. The symbolic descriptions of the weather reflect a frozen and uncertain political climate, growing threats, and foreshadow the beginning of a new, brutal era in Europe.

May 2555 [sic!]

Le cinq, six, quinze tard & tost l’on subjourne,

Le nay sans fin, les citez revoltees:

L’heraut de paix 23 s’en retourne,

L’ouvert. 5 serre: nouvelles inventees.

2555 [sic!] This is the original notation from the “original Nostradamus.” This insertion [sic!] is understandable, as the period of its use is entirely appropriate, even more logically clear. The two at the beginning — instead of a one — symbolizes, even shouts, that the Second World War is about to erupt or has erupted. Confirmation that this provides the exact date of the outbreak of the Second World War is the starting hour: 5 go 6, 15 — that is, September 1, 1939, at 4:45 a.m.

Most dates in Nostradamus’ visions are coded. What kind of gnosis would it be — knowledge available only to a few — if MN in his Prophecies had written plainly: “You know what, Hitler’s Germany will someday attack Poland, and it will happen in the year of our Lord 1939, on the first of September, at precisely 4:45 a.m.”

1. “Le cinq, six, quinze tard & tost l’on subjourne,”

= “Fifth, sixth, fifteenth — late and early they gather,”

The first line encodes information about: the German ultimatum to Poland on August 31, 1939.

2. “Le nay sans fin, les citez revoltees:”

= “The endlessly born one, cities are in revolt:”

The beginning of the Second World War — September 1, 1939.

3. “L’heraut de paix 23 s’en retourne,”

= “Herald of peace twenty-third returns.”

September 17 — Soviet aggression against Poland. With this act, the Soviet Union fulfills the obligations of the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact signed on August 23, 1939.

4. “L’ouvert. 5 serre: nouvelles inventees.”

= “Open (signal), the five tightens: the news is fabricated.”

Victory parade of the Wehrmacht and the Red Army in Brest [September 22]. Poland caught in the deadly grip of two criminal regimes. The “discovered news” — i.e., the massacre of captured Polish Army officers in Katyn and other camps, carried out on Stalin’s orders.

The quatrains from the 1555 Forecast are complemented by prose descriptions, which also have hidden meanings. Particularly valuable and interesting are the “weather condition” descriptions, which can be considered onomatopoetic-symbolic of the state in which a society or group of people finds itself.

= The date and hour stand out: 3:45 — undoubtedly the hour of the attack on Poland. Again, a full moon — a time for change.

— Dernier quart le trezieme, à 10 minutes, finissant l’hyver: tendant à chaleur esmouvant guerres, maladies: fortes rosees.

= Blitzkrieg — lightning war. Indeed, the war for Poland ended quickly.

— Nouvelle Lune le vintieme à trois heures 10 minutes, à la teste du Dragon: chaude & seiche muable, opposant à Iupiter, & Venus, variable.

= The unstable “friend” from the East on September 17 carried out what it had promised — the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact.

= September 22 — the victory parade of the Wehrmacht and Red Army in Brest changed Poland — the end of peace, the beginning of occupation.

May 1555 forecast shows Europe moving into a period of total war, precisely coding both the dates and hours of key events. Nostradamus, through astronomical and weather symbols, depicts both German aggression and the betrayal of the “friend from the East,” highlighting the dramatic consequences for Poland.

June 1555

= “Far, near the urn, the wicked (malicious) withdraws”

The “villainous” French and British “declared” war on Germany, advancing only about 8 km into Germany before retreating into the Maginot Line — the urn (British Expeditionary Corps).

2. “Qui au grand Mars feu donra empeschement,”

= “Who will give fire obstacles to the great Mars”

Mars — in Nostradamus’ code, represents Germany. The first real obstacle that tied down German forces, slowed the Blitzkrieg, destroyed over one-third of the Luftwaffe, and inflicted the Wehrmacht’s first serious losses — was Poland.

3. “Vers l’aquilon, le midy, la grand fiere,”

= “Toward the north and south spreads great severity”

Mussolini’s attacks on Egypt and Greece.

4. “Flora tiendra la porte en pensement.”

= “Flora will hold the gate in thought”

Flora — collective plant life of a region. In Nostradamus’ code, flora represents all civilized and democratic countries — in contrast to fauna, which represents animals. Thus, under the guise of flora are the democratic and peaceful nations: the United States, Great Britain, France. Generally, the public opinion. The gate in Nostradamus’ code is Germany.

The Brandenburg Gate is the most recognizable symbol of Berlin. The “strange war” in the West lasted eight months.

Most dates in Nostradamus’ visions are coded. What MN left in his Prophecies gives knowledge accessible only to a few.

= May 10, 1940 — resignation of Chamberlain’s government; “death” of the previous way of dealing with Hitler. Again, a full moon — a time of turning point.

= Minimal engagement by the Allies.

= November 13, 1939 — March 13, 1940 — Winter War. Soviet aggression against Finland; earlier “epidemic” signifies Stalin’s new policy — “protection” of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

— Premier quart le 26 à 12 minutes en Libra, opposant à Saturne, pluvieux: frais, temps muable, avecques ardente seicheresse.

= East African Campaign.

The June 1555 forecast shows how Nostradamus codes the actions of democratic and totalitarian states. Through astrological and meteorological symbols, he depicts both the helplessness of the Allies and the aggressive actions of Mussolini and Stalin, emphasizing the global dimension of the conflict.

July 1555

Huit, quinze & cinq quelle desloyauté,

Viendra permettre l’explorateur maling:

Feu du ciel, fouldre, peur, frayeur, papauté,

L’occident tremble, trop serre vin Salin.

1. “Huit, quinze & cinq quelle desloyauté,”

= “Eight, fifteen and five — what disloyalty”

The numbers in the first line symbolize the dates marking the beginnings of aggression against the respective countries that had trusted Hitler’s “intentions.” Sequentially: May 10, 1940 — Benelux, May 12–15 — France.

2. “Viendra permettre l’explorateur maling:”

= “Will arrive to allow the wicked explorer / malicious investigator”

The second line — Battle of Britain. On August 8, 1940, Luftwaffe attacks on RAF airfields began the air battle. “Malicious investigator” refers to German planes bombing civilians.

3. “Feu du ciel, fouldre, peur, frayeur, papauté,”

= “Fire from the sky, thunder, fear, fright, papacy”

The Pope, the Holy Father, the Shepherd — this term in Nostradamus’ code represents the actually paternalistic United States. In this context, the line should be interpreted as terror across the entire Western world. Anxiety of the West over the successes of Hitler’s forces. Initial successes on the Eastern Front: Germany approached Leningrad, Moscow, Stalingrad.

4. “L’occident tremble, trop serre vin Salin.”

= “Too tightly pressing the Saline wine”

This line codes the early stage of WWII — defense against the aggressor to the last soldier and citizen (e.g., the Siege of Leningrad).

Wine — grape harvest — cluster — community — society — people — citizens — symbolizes blood and wartime devastation, crushing of the community.

= Beginning of German aggression in the West. Maginot Line — surrendered “without a fight.”

= Capitulation of France, result of appeasement policy, Vichy government emerges.

= Battle of Britain, participation of Polish and RAF pilots, “fire from the sky” — defense of airspace.

= Caniculaires: period of hot summer days according to ancient Romans. Rome — in Nostradamus’ code, represents Russia, the Soviet Union.

July 1555 depicts the start of WWII in Western Europe: German aggression against Benelux and France, France’s capitulation and the rise of Vichy, and the heroic resistance during the Battle of Britain. Symbolic weather descriptions reflect fear, chaos, and tension, showing the West’s response, with the U.S. as paternalistic “Shepherd” trying to stop Hitler, and the Soviet threat (“Rome”) in the background.

August 1555

6, 12, 13, 20, parlera la Dame,

L’aisné sera par femme corrumpu.

D Y I O N, Guienne, gresle, fouldre l’entame

L’insatiable de sang & vin repeu.

1. “6, 12, 13, 20, parlera la Dame,”

= “6, 12, 13, 20, the Lady will speak”

In Nostradamus’ code, the Lady is a distinguished woman, the counterpoint to the “fallen woman.” If fascists are assigned the term “fallen,” then the Lady represents states for which democracy and peaceful coexistence are the highest good. The first line: the Lady speaks — June 6, 1944 — Normandy, September 17 — Market Garden; information about the Western Front.

2. “L’aisné sera par femme corrumpu.”

= “The eldest (firstborn) will be corrupted by a woman”

Woolly = Germany, Aries = German state. The second line codes the Allies’ successes on all fronts.

3. “D Y I O N, Guienne, gresle, fouldre l’entame”

= “D Y I O N, Guienne, hail, thunder begins”

Guienne — historical region in southwestern France. Allied invasion of Sicily.

4. “L’insatiable de sang & vin repeu.”

= “The insatiable in blood and wine revives”

Continuation of the Italian Campaign (July 9, 1943 — May 2, 1945), Monte Cassino — May 1944.

The quatrains from the 1555 Forecast are complemented by prose, which also has hidden meanings. Valuable are the “weather condition” descriptions, considered onomatopoetic-symbolic for the state of a society or group of people.

Aoust sera pleine lune le 2 à 9 heures 53 mi. en Aquarius, pluvieuse, & vents australx & Septentrionalx tendant à frescheur. October 1555

Venus Neptune poursuivra l’entreprinse,

1. “Venus Neptune poursuivra l’entreprinse,”

= “Venus and Neptune will pursue the undertaking / actions”

The symbolic “Neptune” refers to Operation “Hannibal,” i.e., the evacuation of German soldiers and civilians from Courland, East Prussia, and the so-called “Polish corridor” in the first half of 1945. The context of this quatrain must take into account the historical context of the centuries-long presence of Germans on Polish lands, which brought only numerous troubles — from the Teutonic Knights, through Prussia, to the partitions of Poland — and ended only after World War II.

2. “Serrez, pensifz, troublez les opposans,”

= “Tighten, sow worry among the thinkers/opponents”

“Thinkers” code the Germans. The Red Army offensive in January 1945, reaching the Pomeranian Wall and the Oder, left German refugees and civilians in extremely uncomfortable situations. Historically, Germany was famous for the development of philosophical and scientific thought, especially in the 18th–19th centuries.

3. “Classe en Adrie: citez vers la Tamynse,”

= “Fleet in the Adriatic: cities toward the Thames”

= “Those who can, will save themselves from dangers”

Despite military actions, a large part of the German civilian population will avoid destruction.

December 1555

1. “La porte exclame trop frauduleuse & fainte,”

Perfidious German post-war narratives — attempting to shift blame onto Hitler and the fascists (“we are not guilty”).

“Rona” is likely “Zona” — i.e., a zone. Four occupation zones — assigned to the Soviets and Allies, symbolized by “crystal, water, snow, and ice.”

4. “La mort, mort vent par pluye casse faix.”

This quatrain summarizes all events from January to December 1555, showing Nostradamus’ ability to perceive historical continuity — both political and social. These visions, though coded, are not prophecies in the traditional sense, but precise images of the future, whose mechanism remains the master’s secret.

The year 1555, from January to December, encompasses about 40 years of 20th-century history — from the October Revolution to the epilogue of World War II and the first tensions of the Cold War. Nostradamus, in his code, shows historical continuity, the consequences of totalitarian ideologies, and the long-term impact of global conflicts.
