FOREWORD
My book is a novel fabrication. It tells the story of two teenagers: Sonia and Jakub. Sonia becomes Jakub’s girlfriend. They are both happy. However, the day comes when Sonia breaks off her acquaintance with Jakub because she does not feel the same as him. Jakub is very much in love with Sonia, he tries to win her back at all costs, but he will lose all his strength in the fight for his only love and never again sees his flower, which brought him joy every day.
This novel proves that a man is ready to sacrifice everything he has for love. Despite the fact that Sonia breaks up with her boyfriend, Jakub still fights for Sonia until the very end. He knows that while dating his ex-girlfriend, he made several mistakes that resulted in the loss of his only love. Jakub feels a very deep feeling for his ex-girlfriend, he doesn’t want to have any other beloved than Sonia and that’s why he fights for her.
Unfortunately for Jakub, Sonia has already decided not to associate with him and does not want to change her mind, despite the persuasions of her ex-boyfriend. Kuba declares that he will try harder to make Sonia finally feel something for him. Despite this, Sonia never wants to give her ex-boyfriend a second chance again. Jakub breaks down, his whole world collapses. He does not want and cannot imagine Sonia having a boyfriend other than himself.
At first, he writes text messages and calls Sonia, but it doesn’t help, and Sonia doesn’t even answer his phone or reply to text messages from Kuba. Later, Kuba decides to write a few letters to his ex-girlfriend, but unfortunately Sonia does not reply to any of these letters.
Jakub is angry with himself that he lost everything he had so quickly. He thinks about Sonia every day, she is his first thought when he wakes up, and his last when he falls asleep. Kuba is so mentally tired that Sonia even appears in his dreams. Kuba never sees his love again.
The book is addressed to all people who had a similar story as Kuba. It shows that despite the darkest scenario of losing your girlfriend, it is worth fighting for her until the very end, even if you no longer see any chance. A person who is not fighting to get his girlfriend back can only regret it, but he cannot regret it if someone did something to his girlfriend.
June 16, 2023, primary school
We met in our primary school, which we attended together. It was a very special day then, because we met at the eighth-grade ball. It was the sixteenth day of June two thousand and twenty-three. We have only a week left until the end of the eighth grade and the whole school.
First, I will start with a description of Sonia. Sonia is a beautiful girl who has the most beautiful smile on her face. She is blonde and has very long hair. It comes from people who are the kindest and smartest people in the world. In primary school, she studied very well, had only very good and excellent grades and exemplary behavior. Out of her entire class and school, she was the best student. She always finished the class with distinction on her certificate. She was born on one of the frosty days of January in 2006. She was the only one who didn’t look at my appearance, but at how I was inside. That’s why she decided to let me be her boyfriend.
I was a sad and gloomy boy who leaned against the school windowsill every day. I studied as well as Sonia, I also had A’s and A’s, and there were also three A’s. I am a very calm and composed person, which is why I received exemplary behavior from all the teachers. I was the best student in my class. I’m one year older than Sonia, three hundred and fifty-seven days to be exact. I am a boy who has contracted a non-communicable disease. I have acne that is all over my body. All the girls have always run away from me and are still running away, except for Sonia, who gave me hope for a better tomorrow.
More precisely, our meeting looked like this: at the eighth-grade ball, I sat sad, as always, then a beautiful girl with fair hair came to me. It was Sonia. She sat down next to me and we started talking together. Sonia always had to ask me a lot of questions to talk me away. It was no different even during our first conversation. It was Sonia who always greeted me — she was the first to greet me. She was much braver than I was. I could never cope with the stress with Sonia. Sonia is too beautiful a girl for me to cope with shyness. These are normal things that happen when a boy talks to such a beautiful girl.
Our first conversation looked like this:
SONIA: Hey!
CUBA (ja): Hejka!
SONIA: What are we talking about?
KUBA: About what you want to talk about.
SONIA: Good. Do you have a favorite color?
KUBA: Yes. My favorite color is blue.
SONIA: My favorite color is also blue. Do you have an animal?
KUBA: I have a dog. Do you have a pet too?
SONIA: WOW! I have stutters for that.
KUBA: We both have some kind of animal. A… Would you like to dance with me?
SONIA: Of course.
You will probably agree with me that this conversation was hopeless. Nothing can be done about it now, stress has done its job. After our first conversation, we went dancing together. After all, why not, when we were at the ball. Our dance was very stressful. Even for Sonia. Because all our colleagues were looking at us. Everyone was shocked when they saw Sonia dancing with me. Nobody could get enough of us. Everyone was very surprised, because they liked Sonia, but I didn’t like me so much. The biggest surprise was among the girls. As I mentioned earlier, the girls didn’t like me because I had acne on my face. And it’s not my fault that I entered the advanced age of puberty and developed acne on my face. Other girls didn’t understand that it’s just an ordinary disease that can’t be cured, they also didn’t understand that people with acne are also very nice people. Sonia understood this. That is why she was a very special person for me. For others it was a great surprise, but not for us. Throughout my adventure in elementary school, I was a very sad person because no one talked to me. Sonia was one big opposite of me. Everyone wanted to talk to her, everyone was smiling at her as well. She had it easier than me. Sonia didn’t have acne on her face, and I already did. I had a very hard time in primary school and I still do. All the girls always laugh at me. Coming back to our dance, we danced to a song called My Piece of Love. During our dance, you could see that Sonia was a great dancer, and I can’t dance, so I danced very poorly. Sonia could dance. Perhaps because she went to the ballet?
After our dance together, Sonia took me by the hand and pulled me to a quiet place, away from the loud speakers, from which the prettiest songs were playing. There was no one there, only three, maybe four teachers, but they were a little further away from us. It was just us and Sonia started another conversation. For me, this conversation was very sad.
SONIA: I’m sorry, but nothing will come of it. I know you wanted me to be your girlfriend, but it won’t work out for us. I’m not ready to have my boyfriend yet. I don’t want to be in a relationship with a boyfriend yet.
JAKUB: Good. Nothing happened.
SONIA: Once again, I’m very sorry… Bye!
JAKUB: Bye!
We didn’t talk together again that day, but we saw each other a few more times.
When I returned home the same day, I felt my first feeling of love for Sonia. This feeling was very strong. It is very difficult for me to explain. I had never felt anything like this before. A very short moment passed, and I had already fallen in love with Sonia. Despite the fact that she refused me, I knew that I would never find another person like Sonia and I had to try to win her over. That is why I started to act on this issue.
