From the Author

Writing a children’s book is a new experience for me, one that I continue to refine with each new edition.

After publishing the first version, I realized that certain aspects could have been presented more clearly, and that some ideas were not fully developed.

In this second edition, I focused on improving those imperfections, bringing greater clarity to the story and simplifying the language to make it more accessible, especially for younger readers.

The first version included passages that might have been difficult to understand.

That’s why I decided to introduce some simplifications, so every reader can more easily follow the story and grasp its meaning.

My stories teach through the adventures of the characters, making the values they convey more accessible.

Reading these tales is a wonderful way to strengthen family bonds and spark conversations about important values.

Stories have a profound impact on children’s behavior. They help shape attitudes through the experiences of the characters and in the context of the world around them.

Good is good, and evil is evil. Goodness grows and multiplies, while evil leads to consequences.

I believe my stories can help build positive role models and support the development of good character.

Writing for different age and language groups requires understanding their development and interests.

That’s why I strive to create stories that are both engaging and meaningful to everyone.

My tales, based on history, nature, and adventure, aim to convey important messages in an educational and accessible way.

I encourage readers to explore new worlds and discover their potential through these stories.

Author’s Reflection — The Creative Power of Thought

Sometimes I wake up between two and four in the morning — a strange time when the world is still asleep, but something inside me is already awake and working. I know that, according to doctors, this should be a time for rest and regeneration. But for me, it is the purest creative space — a time of an awakened mind and an open heart. It’s then that my thoughts are the deepest. It’s then that understanding comes. The truest sentences are born. I don’t have to pretend — I simply write.

I have often wondered whether others — those who changed the world: scientists, artists, spiritual teachers — also created at these hours. When silence becomes loud, and intuition no longer has to fight through the noise of the day. Maybe it’s no coincidence.

Perhaps it’s not only the outer silence but also the inner stillness that allows us to hear what truly matters.


I don’t write to create “pretty stories.” I write to share what I have always felt — that the world is filled with subtle energy. That within each of us lies magic — not as a trick, but as potential, empathy, and wisdom. And though some people call me “strange” because I see more, I know that this “otherness” is a gift, not a curse.

Writing is not a craft for me. It’s a feeling. It’s about receiving what is fleeting, what often slips away unnoticed in the rush of everyday life. And while not everyone will understand this right away — if you hold this book in your hands, it means you feel something too.

My creativity is growing. And you, the one reading this, are part of that journey. Don’t overthink it. Just allow yourself your own creative power of thought.

Why do I write about three in the morning? Because that’s when everything truly makes sense.

Karol at the School of Golden Stars

In a land far beyond seven mountains and rivers lived a boy named Karol. For as long as he could remember, he felt there was something special inside him. His imagination took him to places that didn’t exist on any map. His heart pushed him toward something extraordinary — real magic. He dreamed of the School of Golden Stars during quiet moments of solitude.

On that cloudy day, Karol was sitting in his small room, looking through the window at a tree.

He didn’t have many toys, so he often watched everything happening outside the glass, as if there was another world out there.

The streets were empty, and raindrops reflected the streetlights, making the asphalt shine clean — as if someone had washed away the dust of everyday life.

On the windowsill, among the raindrops, Karol noticed something unusual — the drops looked like golden letters, shimmering signs.

Each drop carried a mysterious message he didn’t yet understand, but he felt that something important was coming.

Life at home was quite monotonous, but Karol found strength within himself. It wasn’t easy in moments of home silence filled with unease. However, his dreams and belief in himself made every new day a chance to discover hidden magic — if only he thought positively upon waking.

And finally, the dream came true. One day, Karol received a letter. The postman, handing him the invitation to the School of Golden Stars, smiled and wished him luck — probably saying the same to the next child who received this extraordinary invitation.

When the day of school began, with a heart full of joy and a smile on his face, Karol crossed the threshold of this magical school, where anything was possible. The walls of the building were decorated with amazing, magical landscapes, and the ceiling shone with the light of real stars.

Though he was amazed, at first he felt a little lost. Other students moved freely around the school, cast spells, and felt at home, as if they had known each other forever. Karol felt different — his magic was quieter. Sometimes he thought there was something wrong with him. Sadness appeared in his heart when he compared himself to others who cast spells easily while he struggled.

However, during a lesson on animating plants, something extraordinary happened. The students cast spells, and their plants grew, blossomed, and smelled sweet. Karol tried, but his plant did not grow. Instead, it began to glow softly.

That was the moment of understanding.

His magic was different — patient, full of acceptance and deep understanding.


It didn’t work immediately, but it had something that couldn’t be measured by speed.

He moved closer and gently touched the plant. He felt warmth in his heart. This magic was silence, peace, and gentleness. The plant grew slowly, following its own rhythm, in harmony with nature.

What made Karol stand out was just as special as the magic of others. Warmth in his hands, mindfulness, and tenderness toward small details — this brought him peace. He discovered his true magic — not quick effects, but seeing hidden beauty invisible at first glance.

He realized he didn’t have to be perfect to be himself. True magic is accepting yourself, your feelings, and your path.

Every morning he woke up with a positive thought that the day would be wonderful. With each day, he grew more confident, and life brought him pleasant surprises.

His magic developed its own rules and unique beauty that he hadn’t noticed before. It was the magic of silence, gestures, and moments that might seem too small for others to notice — but for him, they meant everything.

He no longer needed to compare himself to others. His path was different, but just as important.

Soon, he began sharing his discoveries with his classmates. He showed them how to notice small things and draw magic from everyday life, teaching them not to rush and to appreciate every moment.

Such an attitude changed a lot in the world we live in, Karol would say.

At the School of Golden Stars, he was someone special — someone who helped others see the world differently. That’s what his classmates said about him, even though he didn’t have many friends. His magic was subtle, but it held great power.

In the evenings, looking up at the sky from his room, he saw stars lighting up the darkness. He felt that each one symbolized a different path — a path to happiness and magic. He understood that there wasn’t just one single way. Every path led to self-acceptance, each valuable and worth exploring.

And so, at the School of Golden Stars, Karol became a true star. Not the brightest one, but the one that illuminated the quietest corners of the world with its gentleness.

He lived near the school with his parents. His mother gave up work to provide him with the best possible conditions. His parents often faced difficulties.

When they met with friends, they sometimes argued — sometimes very loudly.


In such a home, Karol felt uneasy. He experienced restlessness and found it hard to overcome his fears, especially after those loud quarrels.

At home, he often felt unwanted and unappreciated. He sought comfort where he felt safe — close to the School of Golden Stars.

In the shadow of its magical walls, even for a moment, he could forget the everyday sadness. He played alone, but his imagination painted worlds so vivid and colorful that even silence became his friend.

Karol was like a little spark in the gray days. His presence brought warm light that brightened many people’s days, although it didn’t always work for everyone.

Karol didn’t just dream of magic — he truly had it. It was a special gift he had from birth. He couldn’t wait to start learning at that extraordinary school, the only one of its kind nearby.

At home, he rarely had a chance to express his energy — his parents’ friends often visited, which stifled his spontaneity.

At school, it was different — in the company of classmates and kind teachers, Karol felt better. He was especially close to Mrs. Irenka, who knew how to listen, even when Karol was silent.

The positive atmosphere in class helped him keep joy alive and release anger and uncontrolled reactions he had previously held inside.


When anger came, the negative energy quickly faded, as if he forgot about it.

His greatest discovery were the drawing lessons with Mrs. Irenka. These weren’t ordinary exercises on paper — they were a way to show oneself without words. Sometimes he drew forcefully, pressing the pencil hard as if trying to throw something out of himself. Other times, he sketched gently, adding details with great focus. Drawing became more than just an activity for him — it was a way to cope with what was inside. Thanks to Mrs. Irenka, for the first time, he felt he didn’t have to pretend — he just had to be himself. Her warm smile and patience made him feel truly understood.

History was completely different. There, he didn’t draw but listened breathlessly. Stories about ancient times fired up his imagination — great battles, explorers discovering new lands, mysterious castles hiding secrets appeared before his eyes. Sometimes he couldn’t sit still in his desk because his mind was creating his own stories, which he wanted to share with someone.

Math was something else entirely. In it, he found the order missing from his life. Although it wasn’t his favorite subject, he felt satisfaction when solving problems. It was calming for him. Numbers didn’t judge or comment. They didn’t look at him strangely. They had their place and logic — and that suited him perfectly.

At school, although anxiety and fear still accompanied him, his classmates and teachers began to see him differently. Despite a difficult childhood past that often sparked anger, he also discovered hope and faith that he could be someone special. He was a misunderstood, sensitive boy. Although he still struggled with difficulties at home, he was beginning to rediscover himself at school.

Karol felt that his emotions, which were hard for him to express and understand, found an outlet in simple school activities like drawing. He often sat in the last row of the classroom, pencil in hand, creating amazing drawings full of colors and fantasy that caught the attention of his classmates and teachers. It was during those lessons, with his pictures, that he began to build his place in the group.

Over time, he noticed what others saw in him — a talent for storytelling. His spontaneously invented tales, full of imagination and magic, fascinated teachers like Mrs. Irenka and Mr. Andrzej. He felt that what he did mattered. He could show others something they had never seen before.

Not everyone, however, understood Karol, and his relationship with the homeroom teacher was particularly difficult. Critical remarks deepened his feeling of being misunderstood. At those times, Karol felt as if his efforts didn’t matter. The homeroom teacher tried to talk to him, but it didn’t help — they couldn’t find common ground. Her words were too loud and commanding for him, and he hated that.

All of Karol’s behavior at school also affected his mother, who was regularly called to the school.


Each meeting was another reminder that Karol’s situation was worsening. His mother felt increasingly helpless about the situation. Conversations with the teacher brought no changes, and instead of finding support, Karol only felt dissatisfaction.

One day, Mr. Marcin came to the school, replacing Mrs. Irenka. Although he was new, he immediately understood how important expressing oneself through art was for Karol. He didn’t impose rules; he allowed him to create. In his presence, Karol felt free, as if finally someone had seen what truly interested him.

Mr. Marcin knew how to listen and have conversations that weren’t forced. Each lesson was for Karol a step toward understanding himself, his emotions, and passions.

He felt with him like under a tree offering shade on a hot day. Mr. Marcin became a lighthouse, lighting the way in the dark. He helped him understand his feelings without judging him, giving him space to express himself.

With each passing day, Karol saw that things were different with this teacher. Mr. Marcin didn’t look at him like others — he didn’t judge or label him. He just was. And that “being” made a difference. Karol felt he could be himself around him. He didn’t have to pretend, didn’t have to be better, quieter, or nicer.


It was enough to be just who he was.

Something inside began to change. Not suddenly, not like in fairy tales with magic, but slowly — as if someone had left a door open and said, “Come in when you’re ready.” And Karol entered. At first cautiously, then more confidently.

The place that had once felt like a maze without an exit suddenly became a space where he could breathe. Where he could think: “Hey — maybe I’m not broken. Maybe I just see things differently.” In class, they began to listen to him. Sometimes he offered ideas, sometimes he helped someone with a task. He didn’t have to shine. It was enough that he was there.

And his ideas? Well, they didn’t always fit the lesson plan, but they hit the mark. In art class, he suggested a group painting — one where everyone paints a piece. He didn’t decide who would do what. He just listened. People started to arrange themselves, and he only occasionally added something, fixed a detail, or connected parts. What came out of it was something that made sense. Something that was theirs.

Looking at the painting, Karol quietly said:

“Not bad, huh?”

“Yes!” shouted Ania, staring at her part of the painting.

“I really didn’t think… seriously, that everything would come together like this!”

“My piece… I think it’s a bit crooked,” muttered Tomek, scratching his head, looking a little embarrassed.

“Hey, no way!” laughed Karol.

“That’s exactly what’s cool about it — it’s not all perfectly even. That’s why this painting… you know, it has a soul. It’s different from all the others.”

“That’s true,” added Marta, looking at the whole picture. “I would never make something like this on my own. Together… well, it turned out great.”

Teachers and students fell silent. Seriously! Nobody expected Karol — the same boy who usually stood aside — to suddenly surprise everyone, gather all the ideas into one, and create something truly… beautiful and real.

This wasn’t just an art lesson. It was a lesson in life. Everyone felt it wasn’t just about paints and canvas, but something more — that together, you can create something that stays in your mind and heart.

Karol… he had changed. Not by suddenly becoming the prettiest, best at everything, or the most handsome. He carried something that wasn’t visible at first glance — calmness and hope. He could make someone’s bad day a little better just by saying, “Hey, you got this.” Those weren’t empty words. They reached deep inside a person.

It all started when Mr. Marcin appeared. A teacher from a different story.

Not the one with formulas and questions for the notebook, but the one who could sit and listen — without rushing, without judging. And he had that book… unassuming, a little old, with a brown cover and leather patterns, like it was from another time.

Karol watched it sideways for a long time. He was curious because… well, there was something about it.

Finally, he couldn’t hold back. They were alone after class, and then he blurted out:

“Mr. Marcin… what’s that book? You always carry it around. It looks more important than the attendance book.”

The teacher smiled and lifted it from the desk, as if it weighed a ton — not from weight, but from seriousness.

“This is my Book of Wisdom,” he said calmly. “My thoughts. Quotes. Lessons I had to go through myself. Everything that helped me not get lost in this crazy world.”

Karol almost sat down. He didn’t understand everything, but he felt it was important.

“Can… can I have my own? Like, you know… just mine?” he asked quietly, a little unsure, but with hope in his voice.

Mr. Marcin put the book on the desk and gently patted Karol’s shoulder.

“You know, Karol… each of us has our own Book of Wisdom,” he said softly. “It just doesn’t always look like this one,” he pointed to the bound book. “Your book is already with you. It’s everything you’re learning, everything you experience, feel, and all that’s inside your head. It’s like a life chronicle, but written in your heart.”Karol was silent for a moment, digesting the words as if they were more than just sentences.

“So… I’ve been carrying it with me all along?” he asked, incredulous.

“Yes,” the teacher replied with a smile. “You can look into it whenever you want.

When something’s bothering you, when you don’t know what to do next, or simply when you want to understand something. You just have to learn how to ‘read’ it.”

— So how do I learn that? — Karol raised his eyebrows, with the curiosity of a child discovering a new world.

Mr. Marcin looked into his eyes, smiling like someone who knows the answer but doesn’t want to give it away right away.

— We learn it throughout our whole life — he said. — You know, you’re already on the right path.

After that conversation, Karol began to search. Really search. He looked around at home, at school, and even went to the forest.


There was a place he had known since he was little — an old wooden cabin among the trees. A bit worn down, covered in moss, with a roof that looked like it might collapse any moment. Could there be something inside? A secret? Hope?

He arrived there as it was getting dark. Inside, it was dark, as if the cabin didn’t want to reveal any secrets that day. He looked around but saw nothing. And then, instead of getting angry or discouraged, he sighed and said to himself:

— I’ll come back here. And I’ll find what I’m looking for. A few weeks later, school moved online. For Karol, this was not just a change of place — it was a signal. Time for something new. To be more himself.

Online lessons turned into a space for discovery, sharing, asking questions he used to be afraid to voice. The new teacher was different too. He didn’t judge. He listened. He gave chances instead of marking crosses.

And right there, in that new space — through all the changes, the difficulties, but also the small victories — Karol began to see how much he was capable of. What he had inside.

Even though some still saw him as „that difficult one,” he already knew that wasn’t the whole truth. Because in every lesson, every conversation, every quiet “I can do this” — he found a piece of his Book of Wisdom.
