O książce

Heraclitean Fragmentarium is therefore not so much an attempt to collect texts as it is an effort to listen again to what has remained of them. It is a path of reconstruction — not a material one, but a spiritual one: a return to the source in which thought, word, and ideas form a coherent whole. Heraclitus did not write for students — he wrote for those able to hear. His words do not explain the world; they reveal it, kindling consciousness like a fire that never dies, continually renewed.

Autor

Grzegorz Ostrowski
The term „fragmentarium” indicates the nature of the preserved legacy of Heraclitus of Ephesus — his thought has not survived in the form of a unified treatise, but rather as scattered statements, brief reflections, and aphorisms that are known to us through later authors. Each of these fragments constitutes an autonomous expression of an idea, while at the same time forming a part of a larger philosophical structure.
