1. The Site Administration undertakes to provide the Copyright Holder with services for printing a print run of the Copyright Holder's work (hereinafter referred to as the" book"), and the Copyright Holder undertakes to accept and pay for the services provided in accordance with the conditions specified in these terms.
2. The site administration has the right to provide services for printing the print run of the book both personally and with the involvement of third parties, while the Site Administration is responsible for actions performed by third parties, as for its own.
3. When ordering a print run of a book, the site Administration shows the Copyright Holder for approval layouts for printing in PDF format, which include the layout of the text block and the layout of the cover, without the possibility of downloading such layouts.
4. If the Copyright Holder provides an illustration or a finished cover of unsatisfactory quality for the design of the book cover, the site Administration is not responsible for poor-quality printing of the book cover.
5. If the image for the book cover design is provided by the Copyright Holder, the Copyright Holder guarantees that the use of this image does not breach the rights of third parties, and also guarantees that any claims regarding the legality of the use of the image received by the Site Administration from third parties will be resolved by the Copyright Holder independently, on its own behalf and at its own expense.
6. If the text of the book contains expletives, a graphic warning will be placed on the cover of the book in accordance with the requirements of the applicable legislation.
7. The copyright holder agrees on the layout of the book's print run by clicking the appropriate buttons in the Site interface and/or by corresponding with a representative of the Site Administration by email, by sending a letter with the text "approve" or other text that clearly indicates that the Copyright Holder has approved the final layout of the copy of the book that will be printed as part of the ordered print run. Any subsequent changes to the workbook layout will not be made.
8. The site administration recognizes the defective print run of the book and prints the print run at its own expense only in cases where the defect is caused by technological reasons or defective printing equipment. The site administration is not responsible for printing the print run of the book, which in the printed version fully corresponds to the layout approved by the Copyright Holder.
9. The cost of services provided by the Site Administration to order a print run is publicly available on the Site and depends on the number of books in print run, the format of the book, the volume of the book in pages, printing specifications, and other factors. The Copyright Holder selects the print details of the print run by marking them in special fields on the Site page.
10. The possibility and available delivery methods should be clarified in the technical support service (support@ridero.pl). If the print run was not delivered due to the Copyright Holder's fault, the Site Administration's obligations to deliver the print run are considered fulfilled in full, and repeated delivery is carried out at the expense of the Copyright Holder. If the print run was not delivered due to the fault of the Copyright Holder within 3 months from the date of ordering the print run, the results of the print run printing service are considered to have been rendered in full.
11. The copyright holder is obliged to transfer 100% of the cost of services in the form of prepayment to the bank account details of the Site Administration.
12. The Site administration starts providing services only after 100% of the prepayment of the services provided is credited to the bank account. The date of crediting funds to the current account of the Site Administration is recognized by the Parties as the moment of expressing the will of the Copyright Holder to provide services under these rules.
13. The Administration coordinates the deadline for rendering the print order service with the Copyright Holder in each individual case additionally, by specifying the deadline in correspondence carried out through the communication channels of customer technical support employees with the Copyright Holder.
14. The Site Administration has the right to refuse to perform services at any time, provided that 100% of the prepayment received from the Copyright Holder for the provision of services, minus the commission of the intermediary bank for the provision of banking services for the transfer of funds, is returned in favor of the Copyright Holder, if there is a technical impossibility to fulfill the obligations assumed.
15. The site administration, while fulfilling the obligation to print the book's print run, does not bear any responsibility for the content of the book, including the text, illustrations, including the book cover, as well as for compliance with the requirements for the design of the text, illustrations and book cover.
16. All payments collected by the Site Administration do not include any fees, duties or expenses on financial transactions arising from the provision of services to the Copyright Holder. The copyright holder agrees that it independently pays and is responsible for paying any fees, duties or any charges for the use of transaction, brokerage and other services – in addition to the fee for the services of the Site Administration. The Copyright Holder agrees that if, in accordance with any applicable law, the Site Administration is required to deduct or withhold any taxes or fees in connection with the provision of services to the Copyright Holder, the Copyright Holder will pay the amount of such taxes or fees to the Site Administration. The copyright holder is responsible for any expenses related to financial transactions in connection with the transfer of funds to him, and the Site Administration has the right to pay such expenses out of the amount of such funds.
17. The copyright holder is responsible for paying any expenses, charges and commissions that may arise during the customs procedures provided for by applicable law, as well as bears the risk of non-compliance with them, and agrees that it independently pays and is responsible for payment of all transportation costs when the order fails to pass customs procedures (including the cost of returning the order in the event that the customs authority refused customs clearance).
