1. The Site administration undertakes to provide the Copyright Holder with the service of creating an audiobook based on the Copyright Holder's book published using Ridero, and the Copyright Holder undertakes to accept and pay for the services provided in accordance with the conditions specified in these terms.
2. The site administration has the right to provide the service of creating an audiobook either personally or with the involvement of third parties, while the Site Administration is responsible for actions performed by third parties, as for its own.
3. The creation of an audiobook implies the work of an announcer to voice the text of the book, checked by the moderators and the Site Administration, and published using Ridero.
4. An audiobook is a phonogram, that is, exclusively an audio recording of performance or other sounds or their displays.
5. Based on the data specified in the Terms of Reference, the Site Administration provides the Copyright Holder with a test passage of the audiobook, i.e. 2000 characters, including punctuation marks and spaces. The cost of creating a test excerpt is reported by the Site Administration on the service delivery page, valid at the time of placing the order, and is included in the total cost of Site Administration services for creating an audiobook. The site administration starts creating a test excerpt only after the full amount of the test excerpt creation is credited to the bank account.
6. The Copyright Holder has the right to change the speaker once and / or submit comments on the created test passage, which will be taken into account when creating an audiobook, or order the creation of a new test passage in accordance with clause 7 of these rules.
7. The site administration provides the Copyright Holder with a test excerpt for approval. After the test excerpt is approved, changes to the Terms of Reference for creating an audiobook are not accepted.
8. The total cost of creating an audiobook is calculated individually, depending on the number of characters contained in the Copyright Holder's book. The minimum cost of creating an audiobook is defined as the cost of an audiobook with a volume of 40,000 typographical units. If you order an audiobook with a volume of less than 40,000 typographical units, payment is made for the full 40,000 typographical units. The approximate cost of providing the service is reported by the Site Administration on the service page and is valid at the time of placing the order. The final cost of the service is agreed by the parties by exchanging e-mail messages using the official address of the Site Administration (email address on the domain @ridero.eu) and the email address used to register the Copyright Holder in the program (site) Ridero.
9. The Site administration may, at the request of the Copyright Holder, place an audiobook provided by the Copyright Holder for sale, provided that the recording meets the basic requirements for recording quality and content of the work. The cost of checking an audiobook for compliance with the basic requirements is 15% (fifteen percent) of the cost of Site Administration services for recording a similar audiobook.
10. The copyright holder is obliged to transfer 100% of the cost of services in the form of prepayment to the bank account details of the Site Administration.
11. The Site administration starts providing services after approval of the test excerpt and after crediting 100% of the cost of services rendered to the bank account, minus the cost of creating the test excerpt, or, if the author refuses to record the test excerpt, after crediting 100% of the cost of services rendered to the bank account. The date of crediting funds to the current account of the Site Administration is recognized by the Parties as the moment of expressing the will of the Copyright Holder to provide the service in accordance with these rules.
12. The term of rendering services will be agreed by the parties separately, depending on the actual workload of the speakers, but in any case it may not exceed three calendar months from the date of receipt by the Site Administration of funds in the amount of the full cost of the ordered services.
13. After creating an audiobook, the copyright of the speaker isƒ fully transferred to the Copyright Holder.
14. The Site Administration has the right to refuse to perform services at any time, provided that the Copyright Holder returns 100% of the prepayment received from him for the provision of services, less the commission of the intermediary bank for the provision of banking services for money transfer, as well as less the cost of creating a test passage, if there is a technical impossibility to fulfill the obligations assumed.
